Our story

From one Llangefni solicitor to three offices across the island.

We offer clients a full range of legal services in Gwynedd and on Ynys Môn. Our story is one of local firms coming together, each bringing its own clients, knowledge and reputation.

Late 19th century

The firm is founded by R Gordon Roberts, a solicitor from the Llangefni area.
1984

R Gordon Roberts and Company merges with the well-established firm of Laurie & Company to form R Gordon Roberts Laurie & Company.
2008

The sole practice of Michael J Parry in Criccieth is incorporated into the company.
2016

The firm merges with T R Evans, Hughes Solicitors in Holyhead, strengthening our presence across Ynys Môn. The Holyhead office continues to trade under its own name as part of R Gordon Roberts Laurie & Co.

Offices in Llangefni, Holyhead and Beaumaris, offering a full range of legal services across Gwynedd and Ynys Môn.
